Skem@’s program of research and technological development on renewables, that started in 2012 with the incorporation of International Innovation Technologies S.r.l., is focused on the conversion of wind energy.
We have a patent of an Intelligent Wind Energy mini-System (IWEmS) and a patent for general aviation Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) family. The latter is a tool thought to oil and gas applications to assist workers into places they couldn’t go before for inspections, patrolling pipelines, detecting leaks, assessing spill damage and security.
